YouTube VR Creator Lab

STORY

YouTube tapped us to design a hands-on education program that would teach creators worldwide how to produce high-quality 360° and 180° content.

APPROACH

We helped them launch an IRL three-day boot camp and a series of virtual events with ongoing support from experts to help creators hit their production milestones and launch their VR video content into the wild.

ACHIEVEMENT

The VR Creator Lab was so popular that we were able to expand it globally to London, Tokyo, and Seoul—helping creators make more than 400 immersive pieces. We localized each program with on-the-ground experts and translated the curriculum to both Korean and Japanese.

We even had creators win an Emmy® Award and a Streamy Award.
